Barbara Groth is CEO & Creative Director of Big Buddha Baba Productions, a full-service experience design & production studio that specializes in next generation consumer experiences for retail venues, theme parks and museums.  For over twenty years, her strong vision and innovative approach to design and production have made her the interactive designer of choice for Disney, Paul Allen’s Vulcan Productions and many others.


A multimedia pioneer and award-winning producer, director and filmmaker, Barbara has been the driving force in creating breakthrough media environments for high profile theme park attractions and museums including Disney's Turtle Talk With Crush, Spaceship Earth, Mission: SPACE and DisneyQuest; and for Paul Allen's Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame and DoubleTake at the Experience Music Project. Barbara also developed the brand experience and media for Fashionology LA, a groundbreaking teen and ‘tween interactive retail destination in Beverly Hills.


Most recently, Barb has directed projects ranging from developing the next generation of theme park experiences for Walt Disney World, creating “Massive Change” experience driven applications with designer Bruce Mau and overseeing experience design and interactivity for a new project with indie-pop-folk band Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
