Doug has 20 years’ experience at the forefront of digital film-making in animation. After an early period in London where he helped create the digital process at Universal’s Amblimation, and 3D training at Rhythm & Hues, he moved to Dreamworks Animation as their first digital artist, overseeing Visual FX on multiple Dreamworks movies.

Moving to Sony Imageworks, he was the VFX Supervisor who led the first CG animated movie to pass through their pipeline, Open Season. He brought a team of CG Supervisors to the UK for the set-up of Arthur Christmas before returning to lead the production in LA, for which he was nominated at the VES Awards. He is currently at Disney, supervising teams in LA and India.
