Judy Cosgrove lives in Los Angeles where she art directs and designs scenery in the entertainment industry. . Television credits include the hit comedy Cougar Town, How To Live With Your Parents For the Rest of Your Life, Switched At Birth, and prime time drama Medium starring Patricia Arquette. She has worked on numerous comedies, including The King of Queens, According to Jim and My Wife and Kids. Film Credits include The Prince of Tides, True Colors, Boomerang, and The Crow. She most recently completed work on a new variety show pilot starring SNL's Maya Rudolph, produced by Lorne Michaels for NBC.

She began her career in theatrical productions, commercials and trade shows in New York City and in regional theater. She received a BFA in Theater Arts from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and an MFA In Stage Design from Pennsylvania State University.

Judy has been with 5D Institute since its inception as a cross-disciplinary design conference in 2008. She is an active member of the Art Directors Guild and The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Professional Associations include the Previsualization Society, The ASC Technology Committee, LA-Siggraph and AIGA Los Angeles. Judy is a contributor to the ADG periodical Perspectives.
