Steve Villa is an engineer with a passion for the arts. He was born, raised, and still resides in the Seattle area – and loves the rain! The youngest of 6 in a Mexican American family, he grew up being the family entertainer to lighten the mood and ease the tension. In the early nineties he was the rhythm guitarist and lead singer in the Seattle rock band, South of Heaven. He got his Electrical Engineering degree from Henry Cogswell College in 1998 and started his masters study at USC in Artificial Intelligence.
Steve started at Boeing in 2004 and has worked as a systems engineer, electrical engineer, and finally a manager of various research and engineering teams. Before Boeing, he worked at Flow International, Avure Technologies, and Systems Interface designing electrical control systems and programming industrial automation systems.
Steve is married with 3 gorgeous children and values family above all else. He is trying to get the band back together, but it’s been difficult with life interfering. If he could support the family playing in night clubs that’s where he would be – so let him know if you find a 6 figure night club gig!
