Calling all World Builders!
We’re looking for new worlds! Are you a student creating interdisciplinary media that doesn’t conform to traditional labels? Are you working at the edges of known media, or in places in-between? Your time has come. 5Di will select ten works from across the globe to showcase at our next event, The Science of Fiction. Send us your creative works that cross disciplines and use media in new and inventive ways. Send us your virtual world, your animation, your model, your game, your locative media, or your live action video. Show us the world you’ve created.
Submission Deadline: Extended until March 15, 2013.

Requirements:
- Individual contestants or at least 50% of the project team should have been registered students during the production of your project.
- The work should be no older than January 1, 2011
- Contestants should own the rights to all materials submitted or have permission to use
Send:

A short description of your project (in English). Tell us about your concept and how you realized it. What are your world’s Physics? Cosmology? Geography? Culture? 1000 words maximum.
Include:- the names of all team members
- academic institution
- production date
- original format
- contact email and telephone

A link to a video documentation of your project on Vimeo or YouTube.
- Maximum duration 3 min. - A short bio of each team member. Maximum 150 word each.
- A completed and signed release form with permission to use during the 5Di conference and in promotional media for the event.
