Gabriel Brugni was born in a small town in Brazil, surrounded by a rich history that has never been fully unveiled: hidden runaway slave communities, workers that preserve centuries-old shipbuilding techniques, and clues to a heroic past hidden in his late grandmother’s work. Today he is a founding partner of the writing company Maquinário Narrativo, where offbeat details about people and places guide his work in a wide range of entertainment and corporate projects. He also wrote for the non-scripted show O Infiltrado, which was nominated for a 2014 International Emmy Award.
