USC Cinematic Arts

Paisley Smith is an MFA candidate at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. She is a Fulbright Scholar from Canada and the recipient of a 2013 Mister Rogers Memorial Scholarship for her passion for children's media.

Paisley is fascinated by the intersection of imagination and technological innovation, specifically for it's use in education and storytelling.

She works with Immersive Journalist Nonny de la Peña, who creates virtual reality experiences. Paisley has traveled with 'Project Syria' and run the Virtual reality installation at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Paisley has lead the children's world building workshop at the 5D Institute & USC World Building event "The Science of Fiction" in 2014 and 2013.
