Inga von Staden works as a media architect, educator and coach for the creative industries. As a senior lecturer with the Institute of Animation, Visual Effects and Digital Postproduction (www.animationsinstitut.de) at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg (www.filmakademie.de) she directs a four-year-studies programme on Interactive Media (http://interaktive-medien.animationsinstitut.de) training students to develop games, produce transmedial content, build communities and experiment with digital media technology. She is a curator for the FMX (www.fmx.de), an international conference on Animation, Special Effects, Games and Transmedia an assessor for media technology development with the funding programme PROfit of the Investionsbank Berlin (www.investionsbank.de). Together with the Interactive Media Foundation she is building the technology programme TINKERTANK for kids (http://tinkertank.de). Her special interests are the impact of digital technology on business and society and the development of methodologies to further creativity and innovation in interdisciplinary teams.

Inga von Staden studied Agricultural Science in Jerusalem and Film in New York and has since worked in the media business. 1995 she migrated into the digital media realm holding a wide range of jobs as author, content designer, creative producer, consultant and lecturer on games, the Internet and mobile applications. 1999 she set up projectscope (www.projectscope.de), a media consultancy. After founding and directing the European MEDIA funded programme, the academy of converging media (www.academy-of-converging-media.com) at the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie, Berlin in 2001, she joined the regional media council, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg (www.medienboard.de) from 2003-07 to coordinate their activities in support of the new media sectors. In 2009 she trained to become a certified coach with the South African College of Applied Psychology (www.sacap.edu.za). Inga von Staden has written and lectures on a wide range of media subjects.
