David participated in the early development of motion capture and 3D software at Softimage, as Director of Special Projects at Microsoft, and Vice-President of Special Projects and Content Group at Avid Technology.
David later joined Manex Entertainment as President of the MVFX division, a visual effects house.
Today David is chairman of the Autodesk Film CTO Advisory Council, a focus group of large studio facilities.
He is also chairman of the Virtual Production Committee, a subcommittee of six Hollywood-based organizations.
