Nils Fischer joined Zaha Hadid Architects in 2004 developing a large design portfolio spanning Europe, the Middle East and Asia, with a focus on cultural facilities such as Performing Arts Facilities and Museums as well as projects involving novel design, engineering and manufacturing solutions. His work includes project such as the Dubai Opera House, the Abu Dhabi Performing Arts Centre and the Grand Theatre de Rabat.

Nils founded the ZHA computational design research group (CODE) developing next-generation technologies for form finding and rationalization.

Previously he worked for ABB Architekten and Bernhard Franken Architekten in Frankfurt on award-winning projects for BMW.

Nils has a background in experimental computational geometry and worked on research projects with the European Space Agency. He studied in Germany and Italy and graduated from Technische Universitat Darmstadt, Germany with a diploma in architecture in 2002.
