Sarah Smith is CEO and Creative Director of Locksmith Animation, the UK’s newly established high end CG feature animation studio. Born in London, Sarah built a multi-award winning career as a producer, director and writer of British TV comedy. Sarah joined Aardman Animations as Creative Director, Features, in 2006 and developed a new slate of films for the company which won them a three year deal with Sony Pictures. She then went on to direct and co-write the CG animation feature ‘Arthur Christmas’, for Aardman and Sony Imageworks. On completing the film she returned with a passion to set up a high-end CG animation feature operation in the UK and in 2013 co-founded Locksmith Animation
